At Woods School we strive to ensure that our curriculum is well-developed to meet the ever-changing needs of our students. Further, all staff collaborate to ensure the curriculum is implemented with fidelity and that our instructional techniques and assessments are rooted in best practice. Responsibilities to ensure that this happens are shared between the District Administrator, Special Education team, classroom teachers and support staff.

Adoption of the Academic Standards is an annual requirement. The Academic Standards for Geneva Joint 4 include Common Core Standards for English Language Arts and Math; Next Generation Science Standards for Science; Wisconsin Model Academic Standards and Common Core Content Area Literacy Standards for all other subjects; Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards for Early Childhood; Wisconsin State Standards in Social Studies.
