Hello Woods Families,
The fourth week of school saw cooler temps and fall is in the air! Our cross country, volleyball, and soccer teams continue to work hard. We had a productive week and our student council is gearing up for some Homecoming events next week!
Here are a few important things to know:
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services is reporting a significant increase in cases of pertussis, also known as whooping cough, across Wisconsin. Pertussis will begin with cold-like symptoms and develops into a serious cough that can last up to several months. Please consult your health care provider if you or anyone in your family exhibits these symptoms.
September 30 - October 4 is spirit week! Here are our dress up days:
Monday - It’s everyone’s favorite: PAJAMA DAY
Tuesday: Dress in your FANCY clothes
Wednesday: Celebrate America, wear RED, WHITE & BLUE
Thursday: Who’s your icon? Dress as your favorite celebrity or character.
Friday: Show your school spirit. Wear something WOODS
All of these fun days followed by our first pep assembly of the year!
Our band is also getting excited for the Badger Homecoming Parade coming up! Don’t miss the parade on Friday, October 4th in downtown Lake Geneva starting at 4:45pm near North Street.

Picture Day is coming October 14th! An order form should have been sent home with your child this week, if you did not receive one please contact your students’ teacher or the school office.
Reminder: Hot lunch orders are placed by 8:30am, if your child plans to be late please be sure to send them with a cold lunch, unless you notify the school of lunch choice before 8:30am.
