Hello Woods Families,

This past week brought much cooler temps. Please be sure you are sending your child to school with a jacket. Morning recess can still be quite cold. 

Here are a few important things to know:

  1. Girls volleyball wrapped up this week and they had a stellar season. Congratulations to all the players!

  2. It was a very memorable fall sports season. To celebrate, our fall sports assembly will be held on Wednesday, Oct 23rd at 2:45pm. All cross country runners, volleyball, and soccer players will be recognized and introduced. A fun volleyball game of team vs. staff will be played and team photos will be taken.

  3. Has your child misplaced their jacket, sweatshirt, kneepads etc. our lost and found is located on a table in the hallway by the gym entrance.

  4. Last call for spirit wear! Click here to purchase and browse the options. https://stores.inksoft.com/woodsschoolstore The store will be open through October 20th.

  5. Board Game Club is back for another year beginning on October 30th from 3:30-5:15pm. It will meet on Wednesday of each week through November. Please look for a flyer coming home with your student in grades 5th-8th. 

  6. Looking ahead: 

    1. Thursday October 24th and Friday October 25th - NO SCHOOL

    3. Friday November 1st - Middle School Spooky Dance -flyer should have come home this week.

    4. Monday, November 11th will be our Veteran’s Day Assembly. That flyer is being sent home today. Please be sure to return your rsvp no later than October 28th.

    5. Tuesday, November 19th - Picture retake day!

    6. Thursday, December 5th - Our annual Holiday concert will be held in the Badger High School Auditorium at 6:30pm - be on the lookout for more information from Mr. Gates

    7. Saturday, December 7th - The Lake Geneva Christmas Parade - Mr. Gates will be sending home information to band members soon!
