WILDCATS WEEKLY CONNECTION

Hello Woods Families,

Week 8 and just like that we have completed 2 full months of school! Much learning and fun was squeezed into 3 days.

Here are a few important things to know:

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade classes had a fun day visiting Old World Wisconsin. Here they were able to travel through time and experience the world of Wisconsin’s early immigrants.
Fall sports season wrapped up with our annual Fall Sports All School Assembly! The 7th and 8th grade girl’s volleyball took on School Staff in a very heated Volleyball Game. The students came out as victors!
Has your child misplaced their jacket, sweatshirt, kneepads etc…our lost and found is located on a table in the hallway by the gym entrance. We still have quite a few items, please have your student check for anything that may be theirs.
Board Game Club is back for another year beginning on October 30th from 3:30-5:15pm. It will meet on Wednesday of each week through November. Please look for a flyer coming home with your student in grades 5th-8th.
Looking ahead:
1. Thursday October 31st is Trunk-or-Treat in the Woods School Parking Lot.
2. Friday November 1st - Middle School Spooky Dance
3. Monday, November 11th will be our Veteran’s Day Assembly. Please be sure to return your rsvp no later than October 28th.
4. Tuesday, November 19th - Picture retake day!
5. Thursday, December 5th - Our annual Holiday concert will be held in the Badger High School Auditorium at 6:30pm - be on the lookout for more information from Mr. Gates
6. Saturday, December 7th - The Lake Geneva Christmas Parade - Mr. Gates will be sending home information to band members soon!
Thursday, November 14th - Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held from 12:30-7pm. You should have received a sign up link from your child’s teacher. If for some reason you did not, below is the link for each teacher. Our goal is to meet with 100% of our families, so grab your spot today. If you would like to meet with any Specials’ teachers, they will be here and available for walk-ins.
