Hello Woods Families,

Week 10 is officially over. We’ve seen a huge uptick in illnesses in the recent weeks and now is a good time for a reminder of which symptoms you should be looking for: 

Fever of 100.4 F or higher

Vomiting

Diarrhea

Sore Throat

Chills

Cough/Congestion

Generally, your child may return to school when they are symptom free. Any child with a fever above 100.4 F with flu-like symptoms must stay home 24 hours after their fever is gone, without using fever-reducing medications like acetaminophen or ibuprofen.

Here are a few important things to know:

  1. Our 8th grade class has begun fundraising for their year end class activity. If you would like to help out they are currently selling Kwik Trip car wash tickets (see attached). These are ideal Stocking Stuffers.  

  2. Monday, November 11th is our Veteran’s Day Assembly at 2:30pm. Please have your student wear red, white, and blue!

  3. Don’t forget, if you have a student in Middle School Band or Choir, shirts need to be purchased by no later than November 17th. You can purchase them Here.

  4. Looking ahead: 

    1. Thursday November 14th - early dismissal

    2. Friday November 15th - No School

    3. Tuesday, November 19th - Picture retake day, if you plan to have your child retake their picture, please return the proof/package to your student’s teacher before the 19th. If you have any questions you can contact the school office.

    4. November 21st is our annual Pilgrim Feast! Flyers went home last week, so please make sure you get those turned in. If you choose to make a monetary donation, you can do so via PushCoin. Please reach out to the office if you have any questions. 

    5. Thursday, December 5th - Our annual Holiday concert will be held in the Badger High School Auditorium at 6:30pm - be on the lookout for more information from Mr. Gates

    6. Saturday, December 7th - The Lake Geneva Christmas Parade - Mr. Gates will be sending home information to band members soon!

    7. Saturday, December 7th is also the annual 8th grade Craft Fair! Come on out and do some early Holiday shopping from 9am - 3pm!
