Hello Woods Families,
Week 12 saw our Annual Pilgrim Feast! A tradition through the ages and one that is so loved. It literally takes a village for an event like this to take place. Roughly 500 people were served, 19 turkeys baked and 115 lbs of potatoes mashed! To the families and staff that donated time to set up and tear down, Thank You. To everyone who donated food and money, Thank You. To everyone who baked or brought in a dessert, Thank You. To the students who served, seated, and greeted, Thank You. The generosity of the Whowell Family and Gordy’s is unprecedented and we Thank You!
Here are a few important things to know:
As our weather starts to change, please make sure students are coming to school with snow pants/boots, hats, and gloves. If you are in need of winter gear for your children please reach out to the front office by phone or email; 262-248-3816 or thoselton@woodsschool.com
Has your child outgrown their winter gear? Please consider donating them to the school, our teachers do keep “extras” when available. You can drop those off at the school front office.
The Woods PTG would like to put together a Student Directory for families, if you would like your information to be included please fill out the form attached to the email sent home and return in by December 4th.
Student Council Spirit Day and Fundraiser is Tuesday, November 26th. Please help and do your part by coming to school with CRAZY HAIR and wearing your Woods School apparel. Bring $1 donation or more if you would like! All proceeds go to the Walworth County Food Pantry.

November 27th - 29th - Thanksgiving Break!
December 2nd our annual Giving Tree will be up near the cafeteria, please be on the lookout for a letter next week.
Thursday, December 5th - Our annual Holiday concert will be held in the Badger High School Auditorium at 6:30pm - Mr. Gates should have information about that soon.
Saturday, December 7th is the annual 8th grade Craft Fair! Come on out and do some early Holiday shopping from 9am - 3pm!
December 23 - Jan 3rd is our Holiday break
